Meet the Team
We are a young and enthusiastic team that has practical and theoretical knowledge in the rural, marketing and digital industry. We are an external agency, providing an in-house approach through diligent planning, communication and custom technology.
Linley was founded during Molly’s degree, prior to travelling and working overseas. Her desire and ambition is to constantly challenge herself and experience new things, therefore she chose to work in Australia on various livestock farms, which really broadened her skillset, mindset and overall business and marketing knowledge.
Molly successfully graduated from Harper Adams University in September 2019. Her degree in Agriculture with Farm Business Management showed Molly the importance of appropriate management within business environments which inspired her to explore ways to personally expand the rural sector and think about developing her own business.
Previous work has included being a key member of the executive sales team at Heygates Country Feeds. During this time Molly built lasting relations and networked with rural business owners and farmers nationwide. Through her work with Heygates, it proved to Molly that she wanted to carry on and develop her career in the agriculture industry.
Molly has also been fully involved in event planning and brand marketing – pop-up shops, liaising with stockists and product organisation, working at international events such as Burghley and Badminton Horse Trials and rural events including the British Shooting Show and Blenheim Palace Country Fair. Additionally, she has been involved in the recruitment and court planning for Wimbledon Championships. Through working at these prestigious events, Molly was stimulated to develop her career in promoting every aspect of British agriculture and the rural community – by founding Linley.
Joe took a slightly different route to Molly. He started working with his hands after school by joining the family construction business but later realised that he was more effective working with his mind. So he set out to get an engineering degree at the University of Sheffield.
During this time Joe’s entrepreneurial side really kicked in and he set up two web businesses that have both been great successes. Using his newly found expertise in SEO, social media management and general online marketing for content websites, he grew one of the businesses to the point where he was able to sell it at a 6-figure valuation.
Joe finished university with a First Class Degree in Electrical Engineering, but has since focused his efforts on developing websites and data analysis systems and is currently working for a multi-billion dollar Silicon Valley tech company.
With Joe’s technical knowledge, strong digital marketing experience and passion for finding entrepreneurial solutions to real-world problems he has decided to now help Linley’s goal of assisting rural business get the very best out of their online presence. His main role is employing his vast knowledge to build unique systems that help Linley provide a truly bespoke service not found elsewhere.
Otis joined the Linley team in April 2020, he was employed to ensure Linley team members are fully happy in their place of work and he does a great job!
